Melville Minor Hockey (MMHA) is pleased to announce the development program for the upcoming season!
MMHA hockey operations conducted a yearly review of the current development model. A revitalization plan was developed with new enhancements, which was brought forward and approved by the Board in April.
This upcoming season, MMHA will work closely with the Melville Millionaires Jr. A organization and Rail City Hockey to provide elite hockey development programs not only to our players but also our coaches.
MMHA President, Darrell Halarewich, is excited about the new program and is looking forward to the upcoming hockey season.
"Melville Minor Hockey will be working closely with the Melville Millionaires Jr. A organization and Rail City Hockey this upcoming season. We are looking forward to new programs that will be offered not only to our AA teams, but also our Major Hockey League and Parkland Fire (female) teams. From coach mentorship opportunities and skill development sessions, our club will be providing essential tools needed for our players to continue to be successful in the sport they love. I'm excited to see what this season holds for our club."
Melville Millionaires President, Tammy Stevenson, is also excited about the new opportunities being presented and the joint venture here in Melville.
“The Melville Millionaires are looking forward to further strengthening our working relationship with Melville Minor Hockey. We are two organizations that can offer each other support and opportunities for growth not only within our own organizations but also in the community. Rail City Hockey has offered successful skill development camps here in Melville and look forward to watching the roll out of this joint development plan over the season.”
AA tryout dates and times will be announced early August, as well as early bird hockey registration. Stay tuned!
